The Test ROD is designed to measure the performance of inductive metal detectors. The test piece comes in a larger size, which is ideally suited for products which come in jars, cups, as well as on trays. The test piece has been manufactured using PMMA moulding compound, providing resistance to moisture, allowing the test piece to come into direct contact with liquid substances. The ROD test piece allows to simulate contamination in two variants: on the product - a large contact surface prevents from sliding and in a jar/mug packaging - it simulates the potential risk of contamination
