Description
The CYLINDER M test piece is designed to measure the performance of metal detectors. The cylinder-shaped test piece can be used, for instance, in the fresh produce processing industry for products contained in boxes, cups and jars. The high quality of PMMA absorbs a minimum amount of radiation while remaining neutral for the detector, i.e. without affecting X-ray analysis. An additional advantage of the CYLINDER test piece is the fact that it is resistant to water and sustains large temperature ranges. Its shape makes it possible for the test piece to verify the correctness of detection in packaging containing the product, e.g. jars.
Each test piece can be coded with the following colours: red Fe, yellow non-Fe, blue SS. Colour coding allows the quick identification of the contaminant in the test piece. The test piece comes with a certificate that confirms the physical and chemical properties of the contaminant.
