Description
The Test CYLINDER can be used to test the performance of X-ray detectors. The cylinder-shaped test piece can be used, for instance, in the fresh produce processing industry for products contained in boxes, cups and jars. The high quality of PMMA used to manufacture the test piece absorbs a minimum amount of radiation and remains neutral for the detector, i.e. it does not affect X-ray analysis. An additional advantage of the Test CYLINDER is the fact that it is resistant to water and sustains large temperature ranges. Its shape makes it possible for the test piece to verify the correctness of detection in packaging containing the product, e.g. jars.
Each test piece can be coded with the following colours: red Fe, yellow non-Fe, blue SS. Colour coding allows quick identification of the contaminant in the test piece. The test piece comes with a certificate that confirms the physical and chemical properties of the contaminant.
